Opportunities for exploration nearby are endless. Travel through the Seweweekspoort (Seven Weeks Pass) to Oudtshoorn to see the world famous ostriches and Cango Caves.

Head on to George and Knysna over the Outeniqua Pass and explore the Knysna forest and oyster farms. A circular drive will bring you back over the Swartberg Pass – absolutely spectacular, then through Prince Albert back onto the N1.

The Wolfaardt Collection of Africana and memorabilia is on exhibit at the Flood Museum. The collection features the Great Trek and the Anglo-Boer War, as well as prehistoric items and historical weapons.
